That is pretty much word for word how I have described him to someone in the past. Nice to see another person share my sentiments...everyone seems to kiss the guys ass & I just don't get it. I do not find him funny at all!

He's a lot like me, not just the hair either. Doesn't often say anything intelligent, but whenever he does, it's really worth listening to him.

I learned to shut up and listen in real life, but I bet if I were on TV for a living I'd blather verbal diarrhoea and attention-seek just as much as Brand. I know I do it on forums....

I have to admit I find him quite funny, although he goes just a bit over the top at times with his voice

I've only seen/heard him a few times and he does come across as an unfunny twat on those occasions. I don't rule out the possibility that I've missed his really good stuff though. Do you have any links?

As far as the thread is concerned, I actually missed most of the hullabaloo that erupted over all this, would you believe? I just saw a link posted elsewhere to the full clip of the show and based my judgement on that. To be honest, I think the Daily Mail anti-BBC crusade and the saturation coverage across the mass media was ridiculously overblown now that I've looked through most of it.

What I didn't know at the time was that there were about 10 days between the recording of the show and the whole media circus. It seems Georgina did indeed go to one Mr Max Clifford to make capital out of it. Not that any of this makes what happened on that show excusable, they were bang out of order, but I accept there was more to this one than meets the eye now.

i love how she was so embarresed about the whole thing that she sold the story of her 4 day fling with brand & all the details, even what he was like in bed, to the papers.
