london NYE is really dependant on location, money andmore money basically.if your going somewhere you can afford that shuts at 3, but a train back to whereever you live outside of london dont start til 6-7, then your fucked really. londons wicked on NYE, its full of party people out for a good time and police are out in full force so its nice and safe compared to previous years, but its not a good place to get lost or have to sit around for hours.

personally, my NYE is always dicated by money. ive had 2 offers to play, one in london and one outside of london, so im probably gonna leavei t til the weekend to make a decision...but if im in london, ill be with freinds from all over the UK listening to wicked music :)

Wang is looking really tempting though, even just to pop along until 1am or so to count in NYE properly as people dont really bother at parties. theres no way i can afford to get in though :D

I think we're gonna stay in tbh (how old of us!!!).

Pretty much every time since since '96 I've been to a rave but the last few years have been terrible, and last year was so bad we ended up leaving at 12.30am and getting the last train out of London - which was HELL.

This year we're at parties on the 27th, 29th and 30th so by NYE I think we'll be knackered.. so a night in with mates will probably be the case. :?

a wise move TBH

I'm definatley over going to big events on NYE, it ends up costing even the most tight fisted person close to triple didgits and generaly, you have the same standard of night as you would on a regular weekend. NYE for me is all about freinds and family, and where they go, I go. I'm definatley going to be playing out on NYE, so that element is sorted, its just a matter of gathering the right people to come out :)
