Anyone heard the samples from the new pusher album out in oct?
its all funky prog rock kinda stuff......
i was a bit disheartened at first that the really twisted harder stuff that was played at the weekender isnt on it but i guess this will be on a future ep/album. he really cant let those songs go to waste (the tune that starts at 56.05 on the weekender set mp3 has to be realesed).

the samples are on http://www.squarepusher.net
after listening to them there are some great sounding tunes on there & its growing on me quite a bit.
the vocal track is pure :)

the weekender set was

1) Star time 2 - Just a Souvenir LP
2) unreleased & first play
3) unreleased & first play
4) A real woman - Just a Souvenir LP
5) Hello Meow - Hello Everything LP
6) unreleased & played in previous live sets
7) unreleased & played in previous live sets/breezeblock
8 ) unreleased & played in previous live sets/breezeblock
9) Exciton - Bleep exclusive & played in previous live sets
10) Delta V - Just a Souvenir LP
11) Planet Gear - Just a Souvenir LP
12) unreleased & first play
13) unreleased & first play
14) The Modern Bass Guitar - Hello Everything LP
15) Anstromm-Feck 4 - Do you know Squarepusher LP
16) Come On My Selector - Big Loada LP
17) A Journey To Reedham (7.AM Mix) - Big Loada LP

so hopefully a nice big loada ep release for the unrealesed tracks :) :) :)

Its also on bleep in flac (for the same price as the mp3 for some reason) and I really wan't to now what drug he was taking to rob his mind of enough sanity that he would have the vision that was supposedly the inspiration for the album.

Listened to half of it today - it's odd I have to say, not sure about it yet. Im not sure if rocking out on a guitar is Mr Jenkinson's style really

Just to wade in a month too late, star time 2 is a fucking tune, that is all I have to say for now. The rest of its a bit hit and miss.
