ooh. with such varied talent on here we should have some kind of competition. most make-a-mix competitions tend to be crap, i imagine one on here could be a bit of fun. any takers?

100% live and from vinyl all the way, just record it into cubase and export as an mp3

Unless its an archive of a radio show, they record straight to mp3 automatically :)

There are some sick Ableton mixes about, i dont really know my way around it yet though, and find doing live mixing a lot more fun than staring at waveforms (although some of the end results from that kinda thing are great...)

Damo’s Glade 2008 / Sancho Panza Inspired Deep house and Twisted Beats Mix JULY 2008

This is a mix that I made after spending a wicked weekend (mostly) in the Sancho Panza tent. I have been buying this music for ages and just playing it at home as most of the peeps who come to Magik Bullet in Plymouth don’t seem so into it. However, seeing so many people loving the deep house and twisted beats at Glade inspired me to do it.

It starts off at quite a leisurely pace and works its way into some slightly faster, with meatier bits later on.

Enjoy

Tracklist

1. Riva Starr - La Conga
2. Lucio Aquilina - Dicso Bus (Roland M. Dill Remix)
3. DKS - Lick My SYnth (2s COmpany Fuck House Remix)
4. Spektre - Flux
5. Lets go Outside - Girls Dont Like Me (Mark Broom Remix)
6. Side B - Whos In Charge
7. Paul Woolford - Black Orchid
8. Speculum - Implant
9. Proxy - Dance in the Dark
10. Nekes - Cristal (Sascha Dive Remix)
11. TG (Tim Green) - Revox (Justin Martin Remix)
12. DJ Garth & Eti - Twenty Minutes of Disco Glory (Acid Rox Mix)
13. Jamie Stevens - Keep Her Space (Smith & Selway Mayhem Mix)
14. Speculum - Manipulators
15. Proxy - 40 Seconds
16. Shiloh and Marcus Zuhr - Boogie Nights
17. Layo and Bushwacka - Now is the Time
18. Laurent Garnier - The Man with The Red Face

Easy guys!

Here's my mix from Elation last friday night at Vauxhall in London. So what's in the mix? Some japanese inspired hardcore, uk hardcore, old skool, drum n bass, jungle, and a bit of mad stuff to end up on. Elation is more of a happy hardcore rave than a bangface-type night, so this mix is more on the cheesy/happy hardcore tip 8)

Grab it from here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BX7NGAOK

TRACKLISTING - DAVE SKYWALKER: ELATION - JULY 2008
01: Jakazid - Can't Hold Back (Shimamura Remix) [Nukleuz]
02: Fat Controller - In Complete Darkness [Uphoria]
03: M Beat feat. General Levy - Incredible (Drum n Bass Mix) [Renk]
04: Danny Byrd - Shock Out [Hospital]
05: Al Storm vs Heaven 7 - Take Me Away (Al Storm Beats & Bass Remix) [Warped Science]
06: Unknown Error - Alone [Horizons]
07: Darwin - Promise Me [Nukleuz]
08: Hyper DeeJays feat Jenna C - Don't Stop Movin (Jakazid Remix) [Nukleuz]
09: Nukleuz Collective - Dreamer [Nukleuz]
10: Seduction & Al Storm - Floor Burn [Impact]
11: Ebony Dubsters - Ra (Original Sin Remix) [Dubsters]
12: Seduction & Al Storm - Floor Burn [Impact]
13. Vince Rapture - Get It On The Floor (Eufeion Remix) [Rapture Trip]
14: Luna C - Piano Confusion (Hattrixx Remix) [Knitefore Again]
15: Garry Bynon - Live at Vitalbeats [10%]
16: DJ Donna Summer - Get The Fuck Off [Cock Rock Disco]

Hope you like :)

Cheers Sarah :D

BTW, where's the new wombcorps tuneage? 8) Haven't seen any bits from you for a while!

Hope you liked that Elation mix from a couple weeks ago! :D I was given the honour of playing at Slammin' Vinyl Sanctuary Festival last weekend.. my trusty mp3 recorder didn't let me down, and the whole two hour set is right here for you to download. The first hour is pretty much MC free (just my idiotically excitable rants from time to time, lol), and the second half - after a quick MC blag was dealt with - is hosted by the brilliant MC Cutter. Had the pleasure of meeting him a few times and I was impressed by his talent on the mic, and how funny the guy is - so props to him!

Right, here's the tracklisting:
1. T99 - Antasthasia
2. The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
3. The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up (Sub Focus Remix)
4. 4 Hero - Cookin' Up Ya Brain
5. The Prodigy - Everybody In The Place
6. Urban Hype - Trip To Trumpton
7. Awesome - Don't Go (KLAM Mix)
8. DMS - Exterminate
9. Bizarre Inc - Playing with Knives
10. Krome & Time - This Sound is for the Underground
11. Red Alert & Mike Slammer - 1,2,3,4
12. Edge 1 - Compnded
13. Rhythm for Reasons - Grand National
14. Yolk - Music 4 Da People
15. Vibes - Obsession
16. Foul Play - Finest Illusion (Illegal Mix)
17. DJ Lee - A Touch of Darkness
18. Aurora - Firin on all Cylinders
19. Jim Polo & Neil Vass - Rolling Energy (DJ SS Remix)
20. Wax Doctor - Another Direction
21. Krome & Time - The Slammer
22. Dead Dred - Dred Bass
23. M Beat feat General Levy - Incredible
24. M Beat feat General Levy - Incredible (Drum & Bass Mix)
25. DJ Hype - Rrrolll the Beats
26. DJ SS - Lighter
27. Prizna feat Demolition Man - Fire
28. Krome & Time - The Licence
29. Red Alert & Mike Slammer- In Effect (Slipmatt Remix)
30. Happy Tunes - Rushing on Pink Champagne
31. DJ Seduction - Disco Hardcore
32. DJ Seduction - Imagination
33. DJ Brisk - Airhead
34. Midas - Groove Control
35. DJ Brisk vs Rebel Alliance - Floor Friction
36. Helix - U R Everything

And here's the link!

Really like the lavabread tune mate.. for a first finished track it's damn good - very impressive. It's got kind of an early 2 bad mice feel to it while still being a bit glitchy and techy. Good stuff
