Link your mixes/tunes here

We're going to have a competition to win tickets to Ben's Wrong Music bash in Bristol in November and a Wrong Music goodie bag. :wackyhat:

And in the fine board tradition of making people do something a bit creative (remember the Glade cakes competition?), people will be invited to submit the wrongest tune they can make with some free downloadable software. :D

The 'best' entries may even be played on the night between sets...
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

Morning all.

I make some noises with computers when I get bored. You can sample some of them here. Most are just silly but there are a few which I'm more proud of.
For actual tunes try:
Birth Mark II,
Lets all go to Baltimore,
and St. Johns Ambience,
They're probably my best efforts to date.

Enjoy

Baldy Behaved Volume 4: It's All About The Percussion (CD2: Dark Phase)

01 - Panacea - Power Of The Darkness
02 - Audio - Missing
03 - BSE - Boris The Blade (Optiv Remix)
04 - Evol Intent - Era Of Diversion
05 - Cooh - Dead Rock
06 - BSE - The Cooler
07 - Cooh - Love In A Cage
08 - Current Value - 60,000 Thoughts
09 - Current Value - Ion Storm
10 - Counterstrike - Cut You Into Little Pieces
11 - Current Value - Tunnel Vision (Donny remix)
12 - Current Value - Unpardonable Deeds
13 - Protech - We Believe
14 - Current Value - Fear (original mix)
15 - Counterstrike & Mumblz - Sickness & Suffering (Donny remix)
16 - Current Value - Tektonik
17 - Spor - Ignition
18 - BSE - Stasis

Temporarily available beta of the second half of my latest CD, and my first ever "proper" mix.

This release is only the "dark phase" CD. Drum and bass, definitely towards the more "challenging" end of the DnB spectrum. The "light phase" CD will be much more random, and much more of a relaxing chilled affair than this sustained aural assault :D

It's in beta.... the track list isn't complete, I know there are a couple of shoddy mixes, and I know that the Current Value midsection is very overbearing so I'm gonna trim a lot of that out and make it a highlight rather than a feature, but it's a good chance for you to hear some of CV's back catalogue.

I'd welcome any feedback (via PM), be that complimentary, constructive or plain insulting.

You'll need WinRAR to open this file.

Just uploaded a new song. My first experimental usage of Renoise, hence the rather surreal title 'Run! Enter night or I see everything.'

Hello all!! :D

Been away for a bit, what with the wedding earlier this month and then the honeymoon. Just got back last night, jet lagged and all that..

So how did I spend my first day back in the UK? Unpacking? Nope. Changing dollars back and being useful round the house? Nah.

I wrote my first dubstep tune instead, haha. Always wanted to try my hand at dubstep and I don't promise to be any good at it, but for a first attempt I'm fairly happy. My first attempt at IDM ("Kyoto") went down well on here so fingers crossed my dubstep skills might be ok too, haha.

Anyway, I call this "185 Hertz". No reason in particular apart from that it's a bass frequency. Finished this evening, although I really need to take it over to a mates place where he's got a bigger system to hear it properly and fine tune it, although I think it would be ok/better played loud. Obviously being compressed the bass frequencies will be reduced somewhat but enough defending it, lol.

Any comments appreciated as ever :)

Oh yeah Baldmosher - I'll get your mix downloaded, that looks ace!! :D
