Liquid Stage cut?

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Now based at a stately home in Norfolk.

IDSpiral now does late night partying.

Yin-Yang, as the website points out.

Sucks that liquid's gone, but intrigued about this nexus tent. Bets on what it could be?

Also, the nanosystems I take are going to be little soundsystems dotted around the place (like the ice cream van), which is a great idea if so! :)

So it says the Rabbit Hole will be hosting techno, breaks and house. I am guessing each genre will take a night each.

Do you think they will use the same Glade Stage in 08 and 09? Surely its too big. I hope this remains semi outdoors and not in a tent.

Bang on the money. It's also used as the Glade Stage at Glastonbury.

ross just posted this on facebook:

from the Director of Glade Festival

"It was a real sadness to have to loset the Liquid Stage in 2011. The reason for it is that in this day and age we just couldn't afford another venue with the our returning to a far smaller, intimate event. Liquid have been one of the biggest supporters of the Glade since it began so the reality that caused this meant the decision was very hard to make. However, of course, the Glade will have loads still happening for Liquid Fans... Artists on the Origin Stage, an OM Liquid Session in InSpiral and the plan is to have the Liquid Stage back in 2012..."

Sadly with the rising costs of the Uk festival scene and the festival now only having 5000 tickets on sale, the numbers just did not add up for us all to have another stage, so both the organisers of Glade and Liquid decided together this would be the year Liquid would have off but already with plans for Liquid Stage in 2012. But you will be able to catch a few Liquid artists at the event with Atomic Drop, Liquid Ross, Logica all on the Origin Stage, also our resident techno night OM Liquid at inSpiral, Camden hosting a session on inSpiral late night stage with Aliji, Alok, Dick Trevor and DJ Moon, and also Slackbaba will be performing on inSpiral.
