After listening to Rotator a lot recently, I have a theory that metal and breakcore can be easily and seamlessly mixed. I'm gonna try it soon.

What do you mean theory? Plenty of people have done the metal/breakcore thang & it works VERY well! So there is much proof it's a good thing.
I have managed to corrupt lots of metalheads into loving breakcore innit :D

haven't checked which of these links work, bit hit and miss on this site but there are some cracking sets. You should try some searches if you haven't been there before  . Just searched for dev/null on there (bit of an obsession for me atm as you may have gathered) but no luck :(

Baldmosher - Drumcorps is exactly what you're after - it's Aaron Spectre meets Converge/Pig Destroyer/etc etc. Check out his album Grist or http://www.myspace.com/drumc0rps

Safetynice! :fear:

In fact, didn't he play a load of this stuff during his set at the Weekender?

Ahhhhhh yeah but my main issue with HxC is that it's mostly fucking shit. I'd not usually consider playing let alone mixing HxC. Just listening to Drumcorps' MySpace is making me fed up! Very entertaining to see Pig Destroyer live but I'd never listen to it usually.

I feel the need to throw some blastbeat metal into the equation.

Cos your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, then they're no friends of mine.

It was definitely one of the last, yeah, although I have a feeling they put another on that I didn't make it to... my brother's band (Big Joan - http://www.myspace.com/bigjoan ) played the one with Eustachian... it was a truly legendary night out!!

Yeah, Eustachian kick ass, can't believe they have escaped my ears for this long. There are quite a few free tracks to download on Last fm if anyone is interested.
