it makes me all warm & fuzzy inside :)

Apprently he isn't gonna do m/any more jungle shows and just concentrate on his drumcorps/ambient stuff. This is a crying shame

Ahh :) A thread of hope to cling onto, would be a crying shame if someone so talented as Mr Spectre stopped makeing jungley stuff. Maybe he just wants to make funky house for a bit on the sly and make some $$ :D

I agree but Droon is a bit different and very ace.

Rotator also very good but does have the "samey" side.

DJ Floorcleaner has some good tunes

Passenger Of Shit are my favourite ever.

Oh breakcore *definitely* has rhythm... it's all about rhythm! It's just that it doesn't necessarily always have 4 beats in the bar like most electronica.

Melody can be debatable sometimes though, haha :P

Can't see that one, but how about something like Venetian Snares - Abomination Street that I mentioned earlier? That's what I always play people when they ask what Breakcore is... like it's totally fucked and silly as hell, but it's coherent and definitely danceable... in fact, I find it quite difficult not to hurl myself around the room when I hear it.

Having said that, it'd be pretty dull if we all liked the same music... although it might mean that my housemates forced less Shoreditch-electro on me.
