Life4Land people I've spoken to aren't feeling the love for BF, I'm afraid, so I doubt it will happen. :(

Well upset 2 hear Life4Land aren't loving BF, I was hopeful after Jahba played last year. Someone needs to to sort this out, never mind Ed, what about Ghost, M.D.S, Senor Scram, Stivs, geniuses the lot of em, and perfect for BF or so you'd think. Ah well, how's about...

SUMONE - fuckin fly him in from the states, I don't care, worth every cent, I'm sure Jahba will convince him,

OR

0=0 - that would be a bit cheaper, he lives in London anyway and doesn't cost much.

More madcap jungle basically. And everything else too obviously.

I'm hearing everyone clamouring for dubstep, good idea but I'd rather have some more leftfield dubstep artists than the big names. How about Dokkebi Q?

Hmm, maybe there's some way a compromise could be reached, It seems that L4L like to do things their own way, so maybe a one-off joint night could take place with the third room opened and L4L taking one room for the whole night (probably the downstairs if they want a little distance from the Neo-Rave mayhem upstairs)?
I've got feelings of anxiety, me.

Oh God, why are people saying Prodigy. I saw them when I worked at Gatecrasher this year, utterly embarrasing. No no no a thousand times no!

I believe Ed has actually played BF a while back?

The thing is that L4L are a collective and they don't necessarily agree on everything. I got some pretty negative vibes about BF from one L4L member back in January - but it doesn't mean s/he necessarily speaks for them all. And that person could just have been having an off day.

So don't take any of that as official. If James wants Ed to play and Ed wants to play BF, then I'm sure they could find a way to make it happen.

Anyway, how about getting WaveyRaveyDavey in his Wanko the Clown outfit to learn accordion?

Although no doubt he will be coming over for the weekender in April :)
Man needs to get some of his amazing music out there on vinyl, been waiting forever!

I heartily concur, a little more tech/dark dnb would be delightful. To be fair, Noisia are amazing but they have a bad track record when it comes to actually turning up. Calyx would be a very very very good choice. I saw him in Sheffield in July or something, and he was fucking amazing. Probably the best dnb DJ I've seen. Teebee's pretty ridiculous too.

Teebee is a better live dj than calyx IMO!
Acrynm would be immense but good luck getting a hold of him!
Would love to see Tester & Soundmurderer for sum dutty badmann bizzness! (obviously not together!)
Sim.on Korfunkle or some other crazy belgian madness!
DJ Rainbow Ejaculation is pretty high on the top of my list!
And not to forget, a full on Countryside Alliance Crew onslaught!
If any of these were to be on the weekender line up, id cry with xtc!
If any of these were on at a BF in london......... id probably quit my job and walk the 700 odd miles to come play!!

I didn't mention them last time (but as Bangface can make dreams happen :D )

Meat Beat Manifesto LIVE

Would fit perfect on a Bangface line-up & you'll have a variety of styles as they play from trip hop over new beat , IDM, acid, breaks, rave...

Although it's like asking Kraftwerk to play in my backyard, I hope there is a god, who can bring me meat beat manifesto

I don't know if they play out, but I'd love to see what Spor would be like in a club/live environment.

MRK1 got my appetite whetted for more Dubstep acts... I'd love to see Benga, Bass Clef or The Bug....

Actually, The Bug would be IMMENSE at Bangface.

Hmm... do I have a vague memory of seeing him at Bangface?

He does, but I've only seen him on the bill in Newcastle. I'm sure he's played elsewhere. Keep an eye on his MySpace, probably the best bet.

Then again, Current Value is playing in Brighton on Saturday and I only found out by accident, it's not on his MySpace yet I don't think!

Keep an eye on the OffKey forums for dates for this kind of shiznit.

Interestingly Spor is only about 23. Fucking incredible when you think about it, he's got 10-15 years of production in front of him.

Are you havin' a laugh?

Ever tried to draw a freehand circle on your right cheek with an eyeliner pencil, using your left hand and a reversed mirror at 90 degrees to your main viewing mirror? Eh? Eh?

You all think it's easy being a Clown don't ya? How much do you think my car insurance is? With all the bits falling off....

And now you want me to play the accordion?

There is just no pleasing some people!
