Noisia - breaks or dnb set?

Postby hutchy » 30 Jun 2008, 03:14

So what d'ya reckon/hope it'll be. They're playing in the breaksday so I thought breaks but any other times I've seen them on line-ups playing breaks it's always said (breaks set) after their name. I just reckoned with the type of dnb they make/play they'd have been in the overkill if it was a dnb set but...

Anyhoo, *fingers crossed* for a dnb set!
It's not dubstep... it's MUDstep!

Seen Noisia playing at the drum and bass night (pressure) at my old uni; played a really good drum and bass set there. Definately would prefer it to be breaks but either way i'm definately looking forward to seeing them :D

yeah I hope its both too but I reckon they'll not play too much dnb so as not to annoy breaks people

I can see them doing a bit of both really, they don't have to stick to one or the other, surely?

mmmm, those breaks heads are batshit crazy. :fear:

I dont know if they HAVE to, but believe it or not a good bunch of breaks heads HATE dnb, and if they're doing the breaksday tent then to me it would just be rude to play over 30 mins of dnb, because to some people that would be like someone doing the origin stage and deciding to play happy hardcore

Aye I know what you mean, just takin the michael :P

it'd be a shame if there wasn't a bit of dnb in there though, but that's just my 2 cents!

I think it would be a shame for them not to play any DnB as they are legends, and it was only last year when people were saying we needed someone like Noisia for the token DnB act ...

we'll see, however I hope they stick some in there...

anyhow, I just became a member of Fabricfirst. one free Fabric cd a month, which are usually top nosh, and you can skip the line.

Anyway, what is the 1st cd? only NOISIA's!!! wooo, apparently it has a bit of both, breaks and dark DnB :wackyhat:

i was at warwick 2000 - 2004, always a top vibe for night like Pressure and Quench (which i dont think exists any more, was a trance night).

Great to hear pressure is still doing well, i remember seeing Goldie do a 2 hour set for £3 on a saturday night back in 2000 :D Hype, Marky, Andy C, Krust, seen them all at warwick, the guys who run it have serious connections.

I'd love Noisia to play a dnb set because they're pretty awesome and will tear it up nicely. Glade needs Dnb!

However, I've seen them play so many times now and have always wanted to hear them do breaks. I guess I'll be happy either way -= I'm sure they wont dissapoint.
