Old skool rave videos

Postby Sperge » 25 Aug 2008, 10:00

Since I'm on a bit of a rave nostalgia trip at the moment, here's a few videos to share with you:

Urban Hype's A Trip To Trumpton, filmed at a rave called Galactica in '92:

Life @ Bowlers reunion September 2007:

Altern-8 in Trentham Gardens and outside Shelley's in Stoke in 1991:

Moby, playing Feeling So Real live at Glastonbury 2003:

I sometimes wish i was born 10 years younger to experience it all the first time around! Cool vids.

I remember me and my friend finding his big sisters "prodigy - experience" album and thinking it was completely mental bonkers music and jumping around like loons to it :D We were about 10...

Well, it certainly wasn't licensed. It was a free festival that lasted a full week - and it was one of the main reasons for the Tories bringing in the Criminal Justice Act to ban gatherings of more than 100 people at which amplified music "wholly or predominantly characterised by the emission of a succession of repetitive beats" was played.
