Also best idea is to buy some booze from the little shit looking booze shops if you are waiting around cos they are the cheapest but count your change as 500 (£1.20) looks pretty similar to 5000 (£12). There is also sziget festival going on in the city the same week as ozora and might be worth getting a day ticket on the door and having a walk around the island, it is more commercial but still a wierd experience http://www.sziget.hu/festival_english/programs there are loads of places to eat, chillout and drink at this festival

hey thanks for all the info n advice. i've sent some links to my mate and he wants to go so it's look more likely :D

This looks interesting

1. How hot does it get in Hungary?
2. Is it 100% psy trance?
3. Is there a lake or river on site?
4. How big is it compared to Boom?

Cheers

I'm going to this but not been before. Check out the site and some postings on psy forum. The site is: http://www.ozorafest.hu/ It takes AGES to load on the first go.

I'm a bit concerned about the weather too. Having looked at the map: http://www.ozorafest.hu/maps/europe.htm it's in a better position than UK so hopefully it will be hotter. I've also spoken to a guy I know who comes from Budapest and he said: "ok, that time is usually quite ok (I mean quite hot), around 25-33 Celsius highest, usually 60-70% sun, the nights are warm also, 12-20 degrees. The weather starts going bad around 20th August." So hopefully his predictions r right. I don't wanna do rain n cold!

Wow what an amazing amazing festival. Never been anywhere so friendly and happy. The decoration was immense - every time you turned the corner to the main stage you were greeted with the blast of the bass and masses of UV decoration. Brought a smile to my face every day. Food was amazing - felt so healthy after mountains of vegan curry and so much dancing!!! Thought the festival coped really well with the ridiculous storms every night - drainage ditches galore and loads of straw put down to soak up the rest of the water. Thought the soundsystems were very impressive. My best sets were Ticon, Tristan and Ott. So disappointing to be back at home now :(
