mylo - in my arms

its not that i dont like mylo, just find his stuff really dull. ok it is that i dont like mylo, he is turbo boring one loop pop-dance, but i cant stop listening to this tune, even thought i know in six months ill hear it an want to chew my own arm off

that tunes pissed me off for ages now.

Tunes that annoy me right now:

Oakenfold - Faster Kill Pussycat... blatant "flashdance" rip-off

There is another cheesy pop dance record out with Izzy from neighbours singing on it, its annoyingly catchy though

I don't remember who it was by but that Totally Addicted to Bass song was on my computer for years. I lost it in a recent reformat. Shame.

That Puretone track had a identical bass line to Zinc's Super Sharp Shooter. Just a bit of morning trivia for you.

Have a nice day!

Pains me to say it, but the new Christina Aguilera tune is on my MP3 constantly. It's got a real old school funk vibe to it, in a New Mastersounds, Mr Scruff, Bamboos kind of way. Apparently produced by DJ Premier (he of Gangstarr fame), so maybe that's why.

DO NOT take this to mean that I like Aguilera's other stuff.

Although I would pump her. [/i]

Na man, the pipers tend to be a little hairy for my liking.

Talking of pipers, I think the world needs more bagpipe-based dance music. Or how about the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards play the hits of The Prodigy? That would be awesome.

I absolutely love that Scatman John song, "Scatman (Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop)", and i'm not ashamed to say so. Also "SOS" by Abba is pretty amazing. And I dig that new Nelly Furtado song.

My guiltiest music pleasure is listening to jazzy and/or soulful house music mixes. Some of the tunes are so cheesy (esp the vocal ones), but I still love em.
