electrowerkz bouncers

Whats happened to electrowerkz? The new bouncers there are ridiculous! Climbing up to look into the bogs cubicles, listening in on peoples conversations, generally being really rude to people in the queue etc etc... They were always scary little army men but they didnt take the piss. Surely the guards are stopping fights not having a laff? Loads of people (myself included) got thrown out and it was completely unnecessary! Electrowerkz has been great fun for years but maybe its time to look for somewhere else if it goes on like that?

One of my mates saw the cubicle climbing as well. I've never encountered that sort of stuff in a club before, and I definitely didn't expect it at Bang Face!

I've had it at clubs before, normally by bored bouncers. Totally OTT behaviour

My mates are regulars at the weekly Slimelight night (not really my cup of tea) at Electrowerkz. They said that recently bouncers there have been getting more militant, busting into the bogs and all that.

I have only ever had one experience with the bouncers at Electrowerkz and it was a very positive one. At the Alec Empire headlined Bangface about a year and a half ago two guys fell out of the mashpit straight onto the floor with my right knee under them. Unfortunately my cruciate ligaments were torn there and then and I couldn't walk at all (I can walk now, knee still pretty fuct, but I waiting for an op to try and sort it. Didn't stop me going to Glade twice since then of course). This all happened about 10 mins after my mate I was there with that night had to leave, but I wanted to see the end of Empire's set. The bouncers sorted me out, got me a cab to A&E and I think paid the driver a bit more to make sure I got in alright. I would have been shafted without their help.

yep, i'm on it - was at electrowerkz last night - hopefully the rouge element has been weeded out!
extra security have had to be brought in becuase of the new smoking area.
best thing is to find me or get someone to find me if any bad ones ever happen in the future.

sadly theres always gonna be the odd wrongun with security guards :(

probably the worst one for me was at glade 2006 - for absolutely no reason i was picked up and thrown out of the tent like a bag of rubbish during the bang face night  - made for an interesting 15 mins during the rave mayhem :?

pm me if you need to talk!...
