Lift from Liverpool/North West to Glade - NEEDED!!!

Desperatley need some way of getting to Glade for me and my missus. Both live in Southport but have easy access to both Liverpool and Manchester. If not looks like we'll be having a nasty train/bus to London and then a train to Thatchem!!! nightmare! please help us out, will give you money for petrol and as many sweets as we could possibly pass you for the duration of the journey! Depending on arrangements there MIGHT be a spare seat in my car.

That's a big maybe and depends whether my mate gets her knackered engine fixed or scraps it and buys a new car in time.

Ok just got an email from Mr Bus, informing us that the glade green bus service is looking into putting on a bus service from manchetser to birmingham to GLADE!!! Here's the preliminary outlook

INWARD:

Thursday 17th July :

Manchester - 10.00

Birmingham - 12.30

Then onwards to the site

RETURN :

Monday 21st July:

Leave site- 10.00 via Birmingham then onto Manchester

Mr Bus also said they need a proper full bus to make sure its 100% enviromentally, and economically covered, so any northheads or brummies should get emailing gladegreenbus@gladefestival.com. I'm sure this would be a good laugh, a few cheeky beers on the bus for the pre glade party bus should go fown a treat!

If any one on this feed is up for getting the train over to Sheffield Thursday morning there is 2 spaces free in our hired car.

£40 cost for the rental (+fuel)

This works out much cheaper than the train an no queing, trains or buses involved
