Would not call myself a veteren but went last year and had a wicked time tip's well just treat it like Glade chat to people wandering round enjoy the music but mostly enjoy the size sooo small and friendly you do keep meeting the same people again and again woop!! :wackyhat:

Oh and look out for the roadkill

haha riiiiiiiiiight, now you got me expecting some cultish Pagan festival where everyone dresses as animals and burns someone alive as a sacrafice to the Gods(Seen the wicker man? otherwise i look very weird right now  )

Yeah i like small festivals is always fun making new friends and it gives it a much better atmopshere when you know loads of people.

Right OK so I know we have the roadkill flag to look out for but would anyone be up for a GT meet say on the Friday avo or summut?? say 6pm at Chai Wallah (Im sure they will be there were last year).

Also Five Alive and I have been thinking of planning a Bangface invastion for when Kid Fiesta (Franc Bloom) does his set... He did an old school set last year and it was proper rocking but we feel it needs to go a step further eg flying glowsticks ballons etc and some Image masks printing of about 100 of these!!
Anyone else up for this??

Great fun :)

Weather was obviously very shocking - made the main outdoor stage inaccessible for the most of the weekend.

Thankfully it held up for the headliners in the evenings - so Roisin Murphy, Roni Size and Stereo MCs all drew good crowds.

Lineup was all over the place - Bays ended up on the main stage (which was a good move IMO) - but probably bad for those who turned up later in the evening at the beats tent only to find out they had missed them :x

lots of djs / acts switched around between tents, or cut completely. I guess it was a mixture of the shite weather and poor ticket sales  be really sad if events like this go under as we all had great fun 8)

the funk tent was HEAVING yesterday afternoon for the dubstep - 2 hours of Benga vs. Caspa.

Evil 9 was good - despite the shocking post midnight sound levels :x

Soul of Man and Altern 8 were also wicked. The lost disco tent had a wicked vibe every time i went in there! Saw some good djs but had no idea who was playing at the time as the programme was all messed up.

Big up to pd2h, K3str3l (hope you eventually got some sleep!), five alive (loving the dot cotton masks!)

Due to the shocking weather we got through 3 gazebo's, and also the RoadKill flag R.I.P :x But the flag will return for 2009....

Toilets were possibly even cleaner than the glade ones this year, so respect for that :wackyhat:

Also gaymers pear cider on draught - ace.

Free Bushmills Whisky :D

Ferris Wheel :wackyhat:

The guy with the huge catapult launching water balloons into the people queueing for the bar - very naughty, but hilarious :D

My God that bloody weather. At least it didn't get very muddy though, I suppose. Had a great time even though I saw barely any acts.

Here's a picture of me and my mate in our fancy dress gear. Did anyone see us?

Yeah brillaint littlew festival, I went there with no expectations and wasn't there for the lineup. Was great to finaly meet someone from this board (Fletcher). Can't thank you enough for those ear plugs they worked wonders.
Stewarding a festi was a brand new experince (and got to drive the golf buggy mwahaha) for me and met lots of lovley new peeps, also managed to see a lot of really great acts.
My fave was Roni Size and Reprazent on main stage truly excellent vibe. The site did well considering the weather, didnt get too mudded up.

Some of their prep with lineups was a bit poor but it still kicked off, and I found that after Friday night there was a good improvement in sound levels. Beardyman in beat bubble last night was boomin!

Yes I saw the eyebal costumes, very good indeed!

i shall get some pics up soon!

We had an excellent weekend sooo much random fun!! :haha:

Did manage to catch most of the acts we wanted to see but the lineup was a bit of a mess due to acts cancelling etc but who cares noone can be blamed for that!!

Good to meet you flecher even if briefly 8) boo to the loss of the flag!!

Saw the eyeball crew on Sunday staggering around outside the beats bubble ace outfits!!#

Too scared of the Ferris wheel so went on the spinning chairs

Big up to the peeps running the Sparkle Nuts and digital playground spent most of the weekend hanging out up there with a good 2 hours in the wendy house calling people over then "fuck off" from all and sundry in the house hilarious :haha:

I've paid less for Bloom tickets every successive year!

2007: £85
2008: £50
2009: £40

Maybe 2010 will be free! I suppose it will be if I work there...
