How do we get there by public transport? I was reading the website and it sounded very sketchy if you didnt have a car...something like you wont be allowed entry unless being dropped off at a designated point or something silly. Is it taxiable from Swindon station or do you really need to carshare? Or will anything public transporty be provided? :)

Hi,

Thanks for mentioning that...here's the info, we'll add it to the website asap.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Please use coach or rail to get to Swindon

There will be a shuttle bus running from Swindon railway station.

We encourage everyone, wherever possible to use public transport, or to lift share, when travelling to
Waveform. Full details of the times of the bus's operation will be announced soon.

Hey,
Hope this is in the right spot and maybe i'll get a few points and tips.

Meet up with my mate who I went to Glade with (best festival i've ever been to) last night for a pint and we both decided we had itchy feet and needed to get the hell out of London for another festival soon! After looking around finding out we have already missed a heap of great festivals Waveform is looking mighty tasty right now. Just had a few questions to ask because their website doesn’t cover everything.
1. If you had to guess, how many people are there?
2. I know it has 24 hour music (amazing!!) but when does it start on Friday and stop Sunday?
3. Sounds like a mini Glade, what do you think?
4. My mate can’t get Friday or Monday off work so would leave London 6pm Friday then Waveform about 4pm Sunday would we be wasting our time?
5. Lastly someone just tell me to buy a ticket so I get off my ass and do it without all this procrastination!!

last year i think there were about 5,000 people. Dont know about this year, but as it went down so well last year i should imagine it will be bigger this year
dont know when the music starts or stops, sorry
It is kind of like a mini glade yes, although the last one had more of a free party feel a lot of the time than an actual festival. Saying that, it was well organised, with clean toilets and stuff
I met a few peolple who were just there for the weekend owing to work commitments and i am pretty damn sure they dont think they were wasting there time :D

So, get off your lazy procrastinating arse and buy a ticket. you wont regret it.* I just wish i could go again this year. Last year's was my favourite festival of the year for sure. I acutally prefer it to glade as it is smaller and more friendly

* i accept no responsibility if you do happen to regret it
I have only ever been wrong once and that was this one time when I thought I was wrong, and then it turned out that I wasn't.

Finishes at 1am Sunday?!?! That’s a bit early isn’t it? Not even 48 hours of music I thought they would at least play till sunrise. My favorite part of a night out is when the sun comes up, the dj kicks it up a notch, you get an extra burst of energy and all of a sudden colour comes into equation while your tripping on the dance floor having a stomp and that first ray of sunlight hits your face.

Oh well maybe getting some sleep before the drive back would be a good thing.

It's a damn site better than glade which finishes at 8pm. One of my least favourite aspects of the festival :(

I'd put good money on it being the latter, but let's see what galacticwind says when he sees this.

Oops...bit ambiguous my last post isn't it :)

Lets make it clear

Music starts Friday 1200. Main Stage closes Saturday 0300 till 1200....then runs until Monday 0100

So ALL NIGHT SATURDAY folks.

What's more is the chill out runs Friday 1200 to Monday 0700 continously.

So lots and lots and lots of music ;)

Guessing this question is for glacticwind, what time do the entry gates close Friday night?

Have to work Friday :( but got Monday off :) and remember Glade closed the gates at 10pm wondering if Waveform do the same thing as won't get out of London until 6-7ish Friday night. Thanks in advance.
