Chalet Questions

Postby teknon0tice on 04 Sep 2008, 13:38

Just trying to decide between two smaller chalets or one larger one.
Do you get more keys the larger you go?
We went in a 5 person last year and just had the 1. Not to fussed but if theres 8 of us to 1 key next time that'll be a bit tricky.

also, don't hand keys you find into reception.
instead, go on a chalet finding mission and return said key to its owner, and you shall be rewarded with a bounty of goods :P
..or at least that's what happened to me last year.

Last year they told me that they had 2 keys for every room and the charge for losing 1 key wasnt too much but if you lost both keys they would sting you massivly for it ... so she was only giving out one key unless used specifically asked...

Damage to the room was a bit of a pain because when we arrived at the room someone had removed (previously) the doors to the cuboards and had placed them on top of the wadrobe.

There was also a gash in the wall.

I photpgraphed all of it and went to report it immidiatly.

Noone would take any notice at the reception and said that they were aware of all damage so i didnt need to give them my room number,

On exiting they refused to give me my deposit back saying that they were aware of the gash in the wall but the cupboard doors needed to be paid for.

After arguing with everyone for about 30 minutes they all went out the back to discuss what they were going to do and the bangface rep left the deposit money in front of me , winked and said she'd be back in a minute.

I took this oppotunity to leave camber ;-)

Cheers ...

(also me and 3 other chalets full of people from the same area were next to each other - are the chalets randomly selected??????)
