stay-at-home crew mash up in here!

Postby bf_tabardcrew » 24 Mar 2008, 22:55

well... i'm not off to the weekender so have no BF related excitement until May(? June?!!?)

so, smug bastards with the chalet booked and the countdown started - i think you should recommend how the stay-at-home crew spend their non-weekender weekend. i was thinking about maybe getting a smoke machine, a strobe and some inflatables and doing my best to recreate the atmosphere right here in my bedroom (maybe you can take it in turns to hold your phones up to the speaker stacks and i'll put you on loudspeaker...?)

either that or i may just sit very still staring at a blank wall thinking about all the mistakes i've ever made.

what do you think?

if you don't have a ticket commiserate with me, or, if you do, rub it in with childish glee!
if only my mother could see me now...

I'm sorry, but anyone who didn't make the effort to get to the BF Weekender deserves all the gloating and rubbing-in that they're going to get. :D

That was my plan. Or hopefully I'm gonna get to go and do some rock climbing, I won't mind so much if I'm 50ft up a sunny rock face enjoy the pleasure of hauling myself bodily up a clif with an ever present fear of dieing.

I'll be at CoMS watching Fulham get their first away win in about 5 years or something like that, probably since the last time they played at CoMS in fact.

I'll probably go see james holden dj in Oxford (and ill report back here as im interested in what he plays these days, main stage at glade could be interesting) on the friday so its not a totally lost weekend...

I doubt anyone had a shit weekend. At least you know for next year. Except of course you'll never be able to say you went to the first one. :P

gabba gabba WOWWWW
