Take me back to the Meteor

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Now based at a stately home in Norfolk.

Good news if you want to relive the Thursday night at Meteor - The Jump music guys recorded the entire night with a feed from the decks and ambient mic's to pick up all the whooping and hollering. I think all the sets are going up in the next week or so.

Now that track sounds great but some of the other glitch hop stuff I've heard has been, erm, 'interesting'. There seems to be a huge variance in quality within this genre.

Not that I'm sure this was "glitch hop" anyway, especially as you've labelled it Bassline on Soundcloud. Wasn't the Meteor meant to be showcasing glitch hop on the Thursday night though?
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be mainly glitch-hop all weekend but I was there to do bassline / techno / garage and breaky stuff ;)

Excellent suggestion right here, make Meteor home of bassline at Glade 2013 !!

I thought this post might have got slated! So Im not the only one who thought the glitch hop was a bit of a party killer? I mean, its not bad music... its just not really "go out and dance to it" music?

YES! This was immense! We only caught then last 20 minutes of that set but it was by far the best thing we saw there all weekend. Loved the midi-ball drum pad thingy. Thanks for posting the video, really want to catch that guy again wicked stuff.
