The bits i saw were great fun :)

I had to check out Bogulta because id watched plenty of their youtube videos in advance, and i wasnt dissapointed. They seriously rock!

So i bought their album from the merch stall (for a fiver!), and it rocks. It also had a contact email address on it, so i sent them this message...

Hello Bogulta!
Saw you guys at Glade festival at the weekend, and thought you were amazing. So i bought your album from the merchandise stall. thank you very macho!!
Hope you enjoyed glade, ive been 4 years in a row now, its always a very messy weekend with some great music.
Keep making great music
Fletch

and this morning i got a reply! woop!

Thank you very MACHO!!
ARIGATOU!!!!
I'll be back to EU!! See you next Glade!!
I hope,,, NANI

Also honourable mention to scotch egg who still attracts a massive crowd whenever he plays at the glade, he still controls the people, and he still causes carnage on the dancefloor whenever he destroys those gameboys. The man is a genius :panic:

Bogulta were indeed amazing - even better than they were in Nottingham and that performance left me determined to catch the Glade set! I missed a lot of the invasion at Glade due to being pretty much back at my campsite whilst trying to find a working tap and thus spending a bit of time with my dudes. Definitely need to get a CD after payday.
I've got feelings of anxiety, me.

marousa(the guy after scotch egg) was great as well, played a black metal/breakcore crossover was amazing. Got a proper mosh pit going to it, was so out of it i remember doing cartwheels and shit in the middle of it. Thanks to anyone that picked me up after i repeatedly fell over in the middle of it! :P

Owing to circumstances (synapses?) beyond my control I'm at a loss as to who the dreaded DJ playing the roots with the female vocalist were. Fucking Excellent! Who were they? I can't work out from my setlist who they were as I was in no state to determine what the time was.

Scotch Egg, as usual, kicked arse! My mate George was a bit doubtful with a warm, bright, 4.00pm kick off but, as I expected, no worries there.....

That would be "Dokkebi Q", thought I can't vouch for the spelling.

Aye, I thought that was them as I was there from the start but went out every so often to drink Cider and sit in the sun watching the graffitti artists doing their thang.

Missed most of the Osaka invasion for some strange reason (??? - was looking forward to it but then seemed to drift into other tents while it was on - can't remember why!)

However, caught last 5 mins of Scotch Egg and then Marousa and tent was having it when walked in and thought Marousa was wicked - really cool mash-up of thrash metal and breakcore that appealed to both the mosher and the raver in me! :wackyhat:

Dokkebi Q and Marousa were both proper proper good. Didn't catch enough of what was on the bill, but these guys killed it.
Bogulta deserve an honourable mention too for being the most excitable band I've seen in years!
