So, this morning I was on my way to work

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

So, this morning I was on my way to work

Postby Obel on 25 Jul 2008, 16:02

In London, on Worship St to be precise... And I saw this long, dreadlocked dude when I thought to myself "Holy shit! Maybe he went to Glade!?!?!"

Then I thought "No, I'm just being stereotypical, he's probably just some random hippie..."

Defiantly, though, I kept my eye out for his right hand (As I was walking on his left side) then lo and behold I caught sight of a brand new Glade band!

I tapped this fellow on his shoulder, flashed him my cockI MEAN WRISTBAND and shook his hand, asking "Hey man! Did you have a good festival!?"

He was all like "Yeah man! It was my first year!"

"Splendid!" I said, feeling somewhat awkward at this point. "Anyway" I said, because I was outside my office at this point, "Have a great day!"

It was a beautiful moment

Three million years later an apple tree grew on that very spot.

Still suffering from post Glade blues and always look out for anyone wearing their Glade band, glad I’m not the only one :)
Where do all the happy smiley people from Glade hang out in London by the way?

I'm usually keeping it real near Moorgate. But you can often find me on the Strand, near Blackfriars and other such places. But that's just in my working life. In my free time... You won't find me anywhere near London! Shit yeah!

I work in the Bethnal Green/Shoreditch area but you'll usually find me around Stoke Newington/Islington. Look for the wristband, although I never see any others round here.

Well, it's the first person I've seen.

My friend started donating monthly to Red Cross because he fancied some hippie charity worker with a glade wristband down Moorgate.

Haha, really? Madness. Actually, I was at Sion Hall round the corner from you just today. Nice to know a fellow Glader is within long limbs. We should do lunch.
