Ticket problem - Help!

Umm...okay...

A friend of mine bought 2 tickets to Bangface next week
It was meant to be his treat, just an early birthday present for me.

Anyway, he has discovered that he can't make it.

So now there are two tickets for next Friday in his name.

And umm...how am I gunna get in?

Can he transfer the tickets to my name?
Obviously he's not gunna give me his credit card.

So, yeah, in the old days I would just show up and say my name, or show up and say my name and the confirmation number -- but recently they've been checking the credit card everytime.

Which is fair enough.

But umm...yeah, is there anything he can do so I can still get in, even though he bought the tickets and now can't show up?

Just tell em the story and give them the name and number on the credit card?

You can't do anything without the expiry date and the CV number on the back so your friend shouldn't mind giving you the basic details.

I'd say get your mate to give you the last 4 numbers of the card number and the expiry date... explain the story at the door, they tend to be fairly nice about stuff, to be honest, but I suppose you can't be sure...
