Tickets for Sale/To Buy for Glade 2008

Postby buzzingtalk » 03 Jul 2008, 18:21

[Admin edit - Buying and selling of tickets from strangers over the internet is a risky venture at the best of times. An unscrupulous seller could sell a ticket to you, then contact Gtickets to say their ticket didn't arrive, cancel it and get a replacement. Your ticket will then be worthless and you won't have a way of knowing until you arrive at the gate. This is why Gtickets and the Glade organisers DO NOT recommend buying tickets through third parties. This thread is only here as a concession because so many people requested one. GladTalk cannot - and will not - vouch for the integrity of anyone offering tickets in this way. If you choose to go ahead with a transaction, it is ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.]

Hey people, sorry if your thread has been moved but I've decided to move ALL ticket selling posts for Glade 2008 into one thread. This makes it easier for people to both find and sell tickets, and it also makes it a bit easier to imagine. Theres only a few rules so read up and post away...

In your post, include:

:) number of tickets for sale
:) what sort of tickets - campervan/site entry
:) the price you want for them
:) if postage is included
:) if it is too late to post the ticket, mention if you will be at Glade to meet the person to pick up/give the tickets
:) your location so people from a similar area can find each other and exchange tickets/money.
:) and of course, some contact details.

Please keep all chat out of this thread, and let us know when you have bought/sold a ticket :) Either PM me or another of your friendly mods on the board or edit your post, adding at the top of your post that the ticket is sold.

Happy posting - I hope you all sell or find necessary tickets.

I have two spare tickets, having unfortunately had people drop out.

They are camping tickets, have been activated and I can show you the gtickets activation page if there's any doubt.

Postage is included, and can sent recorded delivery or first class, or pickup from london.

looking for £100 each but certainly open to offers.

Please pm me (don't email me anymore my email is not working sorry)

thanks.

I have one spare ticket. And if you can't trust me, the founder of this very board, who can you trust? :o
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

If you have any useless mates who are still dithering about coming to Glade, show them this article: http://www.ravetalk.co.uk/glade-festival-2009.shtml

I have a friend that wants a ticket. He's a bit useless and doesn't have the internet, but if I broker it over GladTalk then maybe things will be okay. How are the people on here actually doing the transferring of money and ticket?

Hi Everyone,

Just to remind you all to be careful when buying tickets second hand from someone you don't know. Even if a ticket has proved to have been activated and you buy it, the original purchaser can still contact G Tickets, AAA, See Tickets or Warpmart at any time and report that ticket as lost or stolen whereby it will be cancelled and they'll be given a replacement.

If you turn up to the festival with a cancelled ticket you will not be allowed entry. A cancelled ticket is useless and the system is such that a cancellation is final, a cancelled ticket can never be reversed.

Sorry if this makes it harder for anyone genuine to sell spare tickets but you're best off trying to sell amongst friends or family, the same for buyers, please only buy from those who you trust.

If you chose to buy from someone unknown to you remember that you do so at your own risk, the ticket agencies only have a contract with the original purchaser and so if you buy a second hand ticket you have no rights whatsoever, including the right to a refund if the festival's cancelled.

I have two tickets for sale!! Open to offers right now as it's so close to the event so just pm me and let me know?

I'm really devastated to have to do this but my mate has just dropped out and it doesn't look like I have any choice!

Oh and I can be trusted, I hope Sperge and all the Gladtalkers I met last year can vouch for that

I might do, I'm a bit scared of doing stuff on my own though, I don't like time alone at all! Had some not-so-good offers on my tickets, really don't know what to do though as I'll be so sad to miss Glade

They will arrange for him to pick up the ticket at the gate. They'll probably want ID or something, he'll need to contact Gtickets direct about it.

All tickets sold after around 7pm last night have to be picked up at the gate as now it's too late to send any out.

The confirmation email you receive when you buy will tell you what you'll need to do.
