Damn that had us confused for about 2 hours on friday night! Basically...all night we could see a bright flashing light way off distance in the sky really high and far. It wasn't moving at all and it was VERY bright - it couldn't have been a plane. It confused us for so long we genuinely believed it must be something pretty weird - until around 4.50am some of my camp decided to go up to the top of the hill to see if they could make sense of it...

.....they got about 10 metres up from our campsite to discover it was infact a flashing LED thing on the end of a long pole on someones tent...
But it REALLY did look like it was really high and far and distant in the sky!! Mental...i wanted to congratulate the guys for keeping us so entertained but they were never there when i went to look - so if you're on this board, thanks!
