I gather N>E>D would like him back but the other organisers and senior crew are...ahem... rather less keen.

i imagine the new track "miss balaton" on his my space would sound amazing in overkill in the middle of the night. if the glade organizers could get him to sign a contract to play for an hour or he would not get payed or something it would be perfect!

Mabey some kind of taxi meter that rises as he continues playing, to measure his fee. And if he reaches an hour he gets a free milky bar.

It's all in the Overkill thread: http://www.gladtalk.co.uk/forum/overkill-t4153.html from about page 2 onwards, including responses from crew, Nick Ladd and Ned Overkill. Somewhere in there is a copy and paste of Snares' own version of events taken from somewhere else.

The long and the short of it is that Snares had a massive strop over the sound, took it out on the monitor engineer, had a bit of a rant about what a crap country this is, incited the crowd to riot and then walked off.
