Lately I've been listening to Heartthrob - Dear painter, paint me.

Daves music tips;

This week I are mostly wearing a leather mini skirt.

(woops....wrong forum....!)

This week I have been listening to;

Remarc 'Unreleased Dubs' - Even more reason for me to sort out a soundcard, mixer and dust down my turntable!

Soundmurderer 'Wired for Sound' - ditto

'Amen Andrews Vs. Spac Hand Luke'

Johnny Osbourne 'Truth and Rights'. Heartbeats reissue of the classic Studio 1 album featuring the tune I want played as my box enters the fiery furnace; 'Jah Promise'

Sir Coxone Outernational 'King of the Dub Rock - part 1 & 2' A 2 on 1 compilation of two classic late 70's/early 80's dub albums from Lloydy Coxones Stockwell based Soundsystem*

*I posted in the nightlife section that the Soundsystem, who haven't played out as a unit for at least 15 years, have reformed and are playing a series of revive nights at the Brixton Town Hall. Among the highlights are this Fridays Coxone vs. Saxon International clash and the Helloween spesh of Coxsone vs. Jah Observer from Shepherds Bush.

20 Years ago these guys could take out concrete walls with pure bass! I know Health and Safety ( :upyours: ) issues may ensue but if they are half as loud as they used to be they will still quite easily physically move you across the floor without you having to lift your feet! This, for me, will be far far bigger than either Glade or BANGFACE!!!

Great album :) Love it. Proper groovy minimal techno shism.

This week, I have mostly been listening to:

Skream! - Watch the ride (good)
Rotator - Choose you poison, mine is hardcore (harsh!)
John Digweed - Bedrock 10 sampler CD off DJ Mag (Great!)
Guy J - Esparanza (2 CDs of israeli melodic progressive house, awesome stuff)

So my usual mixed bag of electronic nuts :)

The technical death thrash stylings of Carnal Forge help me unwind after a morning on the bike. :biggrin:
