Actually, i do understand why people would have been pissed off, and most of the acts i wanted to see were cancelled too... but the sun was shining and there were plenty of happy people mooching about...

:P
I love techno.

er, they were all late, the first being the main tent (nearest the funfair) at 4am on friday, playing prog-trance. the actual psy-trance started about midday friday on the outdoor stage.

i was a bit disapointed myself with the lack of variety though. had to walk off the outdoors when they psy started having rock guitar or israeli asperations (not slating israel just israeli trance) but coming back for hallucinogen & shpongle among others.

was wicked though, all good vibes despite not really feeling like a festival, more like a big club night weekend outdoors - if that makes any sense :? not hearing how bad it was for people until i came home!

have to say though, thomas schumacher ist got!!

It was being pumped in the direction of my tent 24 hours a fucking day from Thursday night. I couldn't tell whether different people were playing, or if it was just one track on repeat!

Overall I had a good time. The people there were really sound and the weather was amazing. The music itself was pretty much secondary and once I got over the fact that the festival was a shambles (they didn't lay the pipes for the water taps until late on Thursday night, for instance) I really enjoyed myself.

Would I go again? Fuck no! I don't regret going and I had some fun in the sun, but Antiworld are never getting any cash from me again.

sorry geez your gonna have to check out more of what the scene has to offer, all the stuff that got played was of the pop variety.

this is a fact

But Enricos partner Ross says he (Ross) is - this from Enricos profile on 4clubbers.net...

Ross: And I’m Ross Eden, Enrico’s partner for the last couple of years in the Antiworld events and companies, I also DJ around the place when I have time and am part of Firefly in the Midlands

Antiworld certainly do not lack a customer base as they put firefly nights on up and down the uk. I must of received so many emails advertising the anti world festival, obviously because they were lacking tickets sales.

Maybe it is a sign of saturation as a post further up mentioned, what else could it be...

Antiworld don't put Firefly nights on, Firefly do. Firefly put on some absolutely fantastic nights and mustn't be held in any way responsible for this mess. Even they were not properly informed of the situation and consequently had to cancel over 20 acts at short notice.

My daughter went and said it was closed down early, supposedly because there was some illegal rubbish dumping or something. No announcement from the stage, just closed early.

Arrested, tried and sentenced all in the space of a weekend? Hmmm.

funny that none of the police mentioned he'd been arrested, none of the staff on the gates saw him getting taken off site in the back of a police car, and the only people going round site saying he'd got nicked were his girlfriend & mate.

btw he doesn't own his house, he rents
