hmmm ... this years, just cos I know so many more people, and last year it was me a one of my best mates, which was great, and a few others , and I really didnt know what to expect so I wasnt prepared even though I was blown away and thought about it every day till this years ... I always think the 2nd year is better cos you know how it is gonna be so you can prepare yourself better, plus the first year was my first ever festival so I was wet behinds the ears ... the first year also opened my eyers to so much more music, so when this year came around I was looking forward to the music side of it so much more ..... I aint one to bitch about rain, and yes I got trench foot, but who really gives a shit ....

for me , the first was a eye operner and learning curve, so when the 2nd time came round I enjoyed it to the max , and gave away loads of free cuddles to people ...

2006 was the best for me. 2005 had the "OMG THIS IS AWEEEESOME!" newbie factor, but 2006 had the bangface evening, rowland the bastard, and loads of extra stuff, plus the weather was even more glorious (I it when it's hot).

This year was the worst by quite a long way, I hate bad weather and didn't have wellies and the shop had sold out, and getting anywhere was a mission and a half, and I just couldn't get into it. I'd have rather saved the money and not gone, tbh, and I was suprised at how much the weather affected my enjoyment (I was home by lunchtime saturday). I'm probably even gonna get my ticket late notice next year while I wait and see what the weather will do.

well i had a chest infection and hardcore jetlag at glade. while i was there i broke my phone and camera due to mud and lost some money, and spent loads too. oh and i got trench foot. but it was still a fucking AMAZING WEEKEND, WORTH EVERY SECOND AND PENNY. why? cos it was full of the right people, the right tunes (appart from the pubstep stint on saturday) right food and right vibe. i thoguht the mud was quite fun once i got the knack of staying warm and dry down. was the most memorable weekend ive had in a long time, the fucking elation of dancing in a river of mud during friday nighrs bangface, throwing abou muddy skeletons and generaly throwing mud about will live on forever.

I would have to say 2007, despite the biblocal floods i knew lots of people there and the line up was better than 2006, which is the only other glade i have been too.

yeah i got the beginnings of trench foot but i was trekking through jungle for 6 weeks before glade in asia, so my feet were fucked already by the time i got to glade. didnt help thati walked around bafefoot till saturday. only then did it get so grim that i investd in a good pair of wellys and some socks and had the pleasure of dry feet. i got quite attatched to my wellies too

Having missed the first 2 years, I couldn't really vote. But I have to say that although 2006 was gloriously sunny and my first Glade..... the music was actually better this year. Fuck the mud, that just added to the endless jokes. Music is what I go to festivals for.

2006 was amazing because of the weather and the atmosphere was amazing. 2007 was amazing for me because i knew more people and met some of he people off Gladtalk. The weather didnt stop us having a wicked time, but i admit it did get tiring with the lack of sitting space due to mud mud mud!!!!

heheh im one of the 7 people that think 2004 was the best. It really was a unique experience where I discovered I could chew gum really fast without realising what a tit I looked like after 3 little ones (that was a first as I was quite new to it all), I discovered break beat and never moved from that tent, I discovered I really loved camping and music and people andI havent looked back! So, thanks to Glade

2007 i hated it - the weather really ruined the festival for me. i didnt have that good of a time.

I enjoyed '05, but didn't enjoy '06 as much so gave it a miss last year.

Going again this year and i'm hoping to recapture the spirit of my first Glade encounters.

Pretty much sums it up for me too,

04 Pukka, camped about 20 meters from the Breaks tent on the slope, it was proper cool, liquid and breaks ruled that year, sweet waether.
05 Great, camped further out seemed to have more stuff to carry, main and breaks ruled, sweet weather, saw a few chavs.
06 Not Great, Loads of chavs, pitched up next to some right jam rolls, weather blinding (maybe a little too hot!!!), had some other problems, again main and breaks
07 Gave it a miss mainly cos of 06.
08 Hoipefully gonna rock

Aye it did that, but in 05 I felt like I'd let my best mates in on the secret and that was top, then again in 06 we let some other people in on the secret and that was ok too.

In 07 we brought far too many people with us.

They have all been great,04 because it was like a private party, 05 on the last night mushies were legal and giving em away before midnight before they became illegal ,06 the great weather,07 the music was top but the weather was awfull but it was a change. This is a hard one… I missed it last year due to bad diary management but after hearing all about it wasn’t as gutted as I could be! I’d have to say ’06 by the skin of it’s teeth as our camp had grown and grown over the years and there were so many people there in our Scottish camp!

But ’04 was great for it’s newness and WOW factor and ’05 the music just got so mental it was great. Bring on ’08!!
