I did. On Saturday morning someone came into my tent in my sleep and took £80, train tickets, my debit card and my railcard. They left my phone and camera. Cheers. Dick.

I was sitting under a tree at the origin stage on saturday afternoon, was talking to a guy who was telling me that he worked on the wassing estate, seemed quite a nice guy until I turned away for a second and turned back round to find he had his hand in my pocket.
Lucky I noticed. I had my camera, phone and wallet in my pocket. My wallet had my train tickets and my id for flying home. what a dick!

Yep ¬¬ went the whole weekend pretty spaced out and managed to lose nothing, and then get my phone nicked on Monday morning. Sucks arse.

Just up from the Origin stage. What kind of total cunt steals someone's ticket for getting home? It's not as if they were going to use it.They even returned the plastic wallet they were in.

Someone found my mates phone and returned it though!

I had a great experiance dont get me wrong, just glad I caught the guy with his hand in my pocket before he got anything

Yeah you were very lucky there, and I know how it feels to lose stuff this way. I have had stuff nicked numerous times here in London and abroad so I guess I have learnt slowly and I am so extra careful now. I Didn't take any cards whatsoever to Glade and I hid valuables (cameras, phones etc) under the ground sheet of my tent when I was in it following a bad experience when someone slashed through the back of my tent at when I was sleeping at Glastonbury a few years ago and nicked most of my stuff!

No crime for me personally, but one of the girls i was camped with (laurennoodles on here) had her camera nicked on the last night

On the flipside, there was some goodness going on too, another one of the girls from my campsite lost her bumbag, and it was all returned with everything intact

Had my wallet stolen on Friday night while sleeping in my tent ( all zipped up- front door + bedroom door). Nicked my shorts that was lying next to me and emptied the pockets. Fortunately my wallet was found and return to AAA, all my card was there but my £100 were gone obviously. Big Thanks to whoever returned it and to AAA for their first class help.

i got robbed!! omfg!!

mid sleep friday night, i thought a friend came into the tent to grab her sleeping bag, £180 out of my bag, i had no sleep weds, thurs and friday, and spun out so badly i began to hear voices of my friends bitching about me when they wasn't. i KNOW who did it, even confronted the bastards and they denied it. they tried to give it back when i was trying to get to sleep, i caught them spying on me.. but then they saw me get over it and have a good time, so they didn't give it back

Lost my wallet on Friday night, got a phone call midday saturday from the lost property tent letting me know the bloke who found it wanted to hand it back to me with all my cash in it!!!! Cheers fella, you relly made my weekend¬!

although im extra strict about where i put things when i sleep - money goes in a money belt with id/cards/tickets etc and camera in the many blankets i have - no chance some pikey is getting it! i need to hide shit well cos i sleep so heavy - my mate lee come into my tent on monday morning and apparently took a few mins to wake me up not a good defensce mecahinsim when a chav is robbing your tent!

On Friday morning I heard some girl near my tent screamin 'help me' so loud i actually thought I was imaging it, it was so scary but then I heard she got her bag stolen right from her and punched in the face a few times! Fuckin prick hope he got kicked around and arrested!

My girlfriend's handbag got taken from our tent on Friday night with a few cards and our car keys in it. Just as we went to report it our camp phoned me to tell me a girl had found it and given it back! The relief.

I was in the camper van field and had no problems myself. Can't remember what day it was but saw someone passed out on the ground outside their tent with their wallet and phone beside them on the grass so woke them up and told them to put it back in their pocket. Of all the festivals i've been to my opinion of my first Glade is that it was pretty safe but I guess you always get a few bad eggs.

I lost my phone due to my iratic dancing in overkill, but thankfully a very kind and thoughtful young lady picked it up and called my last dialed number, which was my mate who was also at the fest, so it got returned to me.

Everyone in my group (8 people) got robbed this year. Mostly they took stupid shit like chairs and booze and a gas stove. Most of the tents around us were robbed as well, with at least 5 people we spoke to losing wallets and phones. (We were camped on the hill directly up from Breaksday back from the road).

Some people in the tent next to us caught one of the robbers and tackled him and held him down, They then went to get the security people in the watchtower but had to wake them up because they were sleeping on the job!!!!!!!

A girl in our group had her bag stolen from her tent. It had cash, car keys, sunglasses and cards. She was more upset about teh car keys and sunglasses than anything else.

The bag was found by someone, minus cash, sunglasses broken, but with the cards and keys still there. The cards ahd already been cancelled by that point though.

It would have been major hassle if the keys had gone though.
