I'd like to see Glade experiment with the jam-tronica scene thats been around in the US for a while but is yet to make it over here. Ideally that would involve booking STS9, but they might be out of the price range, in which case acts like Lotus and Pnuma Trio (or duo) would be great to see. All of these bands put on a phenominal, improv heavy live show (especially STS9). I realise it's a little bit of a departure from the usual stuff at Glade, but i'd love to see them pioneer something like that over here.

I think Shpongle live would be quite the coup, attractting alot of extra ticket sales from a worldwide audience whilst pleasing alot of Glade regulars. I saw the show in October and it was really impressive, but I think it could have been even better at somewhere like Glade with a really chill crowd.

Other stuff i'd like to see: Squarepusher, AFX, OTT, Hallucinogen, Elliot Lipp (or even better Lipp Service), Ana Sia, Bassnectar.

Erm, have you not heard of the bays before? They played at glade 2007 and are currently doing improvised electronica shows with a 16 man orchestra (also improvised). Would definately be a good book for glade 2009 but not sure the glade stage wud accomodate a whole orchestra?

Shpongle live would be ridiculously immense (the roundhouse concert was simply the best concert i've ever seen) but unlikely as they are again a massive band and I think their live shows are very selective...

Any of the following would be wicked :
AFX
Future sound of London
Spor
Bar 9
Benga
Dave Clark
Chris Clark (again)
Rawtekk
Black sun empire
Current Value (again)
Battles
65dos
Milanese
Richard Devine
The Flashbulb
The Black Dog
Plaid (if they're playing an acid techno set)

It's funny. when i registered a minute ago. My human verifxation question was: who's smarter a chimpanzee or George Bush? obviously i said a chimp but it said i was wrong :?

That's the correct answer (of course) but either you mistyped something or you entered something like "a chimp" instead of "chimp".

yohankiwi, I had never heard of the bays before, I just checked them out. Wow. They are the band i've been searching for for the last 18 months, a REALLY decent UK jam band. Only dissapointing thing is they just finished a tour so i'm going to have to wait to see them. But damn that is an exiting prospect for the future. Thanks for letting me know about them, much apprieciated!

Of course bands play Glade, have you been going to the same festival? Jaberwok, Easy Star Allstars, Bonze, The Bays I know there is a whole load more.

Ok after much thought

Main Stage Needs someone proper big like
Orbitol
Lemon Jelly
Future Sound of London
along with
Easy Star Allstars
Maybe the Bays and Heratige Orchestra? I didn't manage to catch that tour and would proper like to see it, and personally think it would go down a treat at Glade
Dreadzone, becuase they are the best thing ever to watch on a satuday evening
The Cinematic Orchestra

Psytrance

Please please please No Infected Sellout shitty singing pussy paytrance Mushroom - If anyone has heard their last few albums they must surely agree with this. Infected Mushroom are far past their sellout date, and need taken out for the good of the psytrance community, so they dont ruin it with their brand of easy listening, over the top, stupid lyrics (I'm the supervisor, can I get a taxi number?? Yea really fucking psychedelic!), stupid singing, Commercialised Trance that has more in common with Tiesto than the real Psytrance Artists.
But for some massive act, Juno Recotor's live set looks amazing, loads of half naked african people running about. Haven't really heard too much of their stuff but would love to see them.
I also hear Sphongles live show is really really fucking expensive (Because they are so in it for the music?) So maybe that kind of money should be spent somewhere else?
Scorb
Slackababa
And much much more night time psytrance like
YAB YUM AGAIN!!!!
Electrypnose
Cosmo
Drummatik
Mindcore
Apex
Preferably a bit of dark stuff also
Parasense
Acid Goblins

Overkill

AFX/Maybe an appearance by The Tuss?
Amon Tobin
Gabber Front Berlin!!!!!!!
Noisekick!!
Venetian Snares
Drumcorps
Rotator - missed his set this year but hear it was pretty immense
Cardopusher
Richard Devine
BOGDAN RACZYNSKI!!!!
HOONBOY
Ebola
Shitmat

Chill

Cardbon Based Lifeforms
Mirror System
Ott

As for Techno I don't really know too much apart from make it bouncy and Loud!!! Preferably of the Acid Variety, but some kind of big Detroit Techno Dj again would be pretty awesome.

Obviously all these names would be a bit too much for Glade to pay for, but a hand full from each would be fucking brilliant.

I've only been to one Glade but I saw plenty of bands. I think there are a heap of bands which could easily fit in at an electronic festival especially in the middle of the day or early afternoon it was nice to mix things up a bit.

Far Too Loud need to play again next year on a better stage where they can be loud rather not loud enough.

Stereo:Type - ctrl z & screwface
Aquasky
Altern-8
Casper & Rusko
Tayo
Excision
Shit matt
Scotch Egg
Lemon Jelly
Noisia

They also need some liquid drum n bass
High contrast
London electricity
Commix
Danny Bryd

Oh and LBO (london breakbeat orchestra) never seen em but a 30 piece breakbeat orchestra sounds PHAT!!!

infected mushroom vs pendulum

/wanks

BUT RLY

moar jungle pls. paulie walnuts/twinhooker/mademsound/16AJ/etc etc. and some old skool jungle e.g. Remarc playing a full old skool set and NO jump up, ironic or not. it fucking ruined it for me :x BABY D would be fuckin sweet, altern-8, luna-c...basically, wicked epic raveness where people just go mental. or what that glade could do is ask me to play some unadulterated jungle ;)

but really, the line up is awesome every year for me, theres always something new, something familiar, etc.i guess id really just like them to keep to that pattern of keeping my ears well excercised throughout the weekend, stuff down at ID spiral is always wicked. i even dipped into breaksday for an hour this year so something must be going on! i challange them to lure me into the house tent though :D
