Much as I'd love them to be there, I think they're beyond Glade's budget. It's only really the big commercial festivals with corporate sponsorship that can afford that level of act. They had considered Bill Bailey after our little campaign over the past year but found he was too expensive, for example.
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

Nah, Andy C was last year, do keep up. ;)

Will Grooverider be out of jail next year? Or maybe we can have Puretone. Remember that Totally Addicted To Bass?

my next years requests would be:

65 days of static: they played in 2006 but i had never heard of them then and got into them a little after they are a great band and would absoloutely smash the glade stage.

the panacea - we need much darker, heavier drum and bass, this would fit in better. Tho i am only judging them on one mix i have which i love. If that was a one off and the rest of the time they are a pendulem tribute band then maybe not.

lemon jelly- if we are going to have a farily mainstream act these guys would be perfect, thier music is pure bliss and purely bizzare at other points and i could see them sending me off into sweeping waves of euphoria. Im guessing they are probably really expensive tho so it would probably be better spent on a couple of other acts.

Richie hawtin- same as smiffy, missed him in 2007 and do love some minmal techno of a nightime.

Squarepusher - he smashed the main stage in 2007 best set of the festival and he may even have another album out by this point. Great live show.

Venetian snares - i only have one album by him im into(the one with the foreign name) and this album blows me away every time i listen to it. Just give him reasonable sound or he will cry.

The line up was fantastic this year and as always i have ended up finding new acts that i love. Theres so much out there in the electronic scene.

nah i'm talking to the other guy. i love prefuse 73, if he played glade i'd be right up the front, never heard machinedrum though are they similar? if you like prefuse might i recommend dimlight, very similar sort of sound.

Robert Hood, Adam X, Dave Clarke, The Horrorist, Fixmer and McCarthy [live] Jeff Mills & Mike Banks - X102 - Rediscovers The Rings of Saturn (although i'd think they'd be more spacescape and not really dance, not heard how it went at sonar), Mathew Dear, Love Decade, The Dream Frequency, Cannon & Ball, The Krankies, Michael Forshaw, DJ Pierre, Pierre - ohhh yes.
