News just in from the Glade Office…

Howdy.. Just thought we’d give you a little update..

Tickets for this year are still available so please don’t miss the boat and get your mitts on them now. The people that have come to the Glade over the past few years are the people we want to come again and that’s you… The friendliest, most excellent folk on this fair land.

And as you know the festival this year will be smaller, and better, than last year. So get on…

And if you’ve forgotten how wonderful the glade is then spend a couple of minutes watching this sweet little video –

We hope you’ll enjoy the VAPOR STAGE this year.. We have got some of the most ridiculously excellent music going down in there…

JEFF MILLS is unquestionably the father of Techno and we’ve got him for the late night session on Saturday. There are few times when we get a chance to witness this wizard of turntable creativity in action and without doubt this is one of the main attractions on the UK festival scene this summer.

FREQUENCY 7 (aka Ben Sims and Surgeon) are there as well… And as they only do gigs with excellent sound systems, the right atmosphere and an open minded crowd it’s no surprise that the Glade fit the bill. They create a uniquely improvised experience from techno, funk, dub, house, hip hop, disco, Industrial etc utilizing turntables, CD decks, FX and all the latest technology.

SLAM LIVE are artists at their creative peak. In this technological age Slam utilise the human touch to inject a myriad of emotions into their amazing electronic machine music.

CLAUDE VON STROKE is another master of the minimal techno style and has a quirkiness in his music that we can’t get enough of. He wrote the brilliant ‘who’s afraid of detroit’ which was arguably the biggest techno tune of 2006.

JIM MASTERS is back. A legend in his own right and a man who’s not afraid to throw anything into the mix to get the floor shaking… Whether it’s latin, electro, techno, house or jazz… Sweet

PAUL WOOLFORD has a different and exciting edge to his mixing and we’re delighted he’s here this year. He uses the alias Bobby Peru too..

MARK BROOM has worked with renowned labels such as Mo-Wax, Warp, R&S, Soma, Ifach, Plink Plonk and loads more and has reworked material from Ken Ishi, The Advent, Ben Sims and more. Check this it is going to be wicked..

SIMON BARING is a new and exciting talent on the minimal scene and has an ear for the psychedelic whilst at the same time getting the techno vibe. He’s got a lot going on!

What better way to travel; with all the excitement on the way and the warm relaxed glow on the way back! If interested then please have a look at https://www.gtickets.co.uk/glade-green-bus-2008/ to see the options available.

If you need buses from other destinations then please let us know!
