Speculation is rife about the secret new location for Glade Festival after the organisers revealed the 2011 event is being held somewhere in Warwickshire.

Last year’s cancellation, blamed on an unexpectedly high policing bill, led to the organiser Anselm Guise staying tight-lipped over this year’s arrangements.

The new venue is said to be within “a 90-minute drive from London”, like its predecessors in Berkshire and Hampshire, although this is probably only really achievable on a clear motorway at 4am with no traffic police around. However, the prospect of a shorter journey is likely to be welcomed by partygoers who normally face a long drive south.
