Ravetalk celebrates its sixth birthday later this month and we thought it could do with a bit of a revamp – hope you like the new format!

We’ll still be bringing you news about underground dance music events – but we’re aiming to give a much more rounded (and independent) view of the whole scene from now on. The only spin we want to see on Ravetalk is from decks and CDJs.

Keep your eyes peeled for a forthcoming exclusive interview with a true Godfather of Rave, Mark Archer, who is about to release a blistering set of remixes of Frequency.

These 2011 takes on Altern-8’s old skool rave classic are aided and abetted by Luke Vibert, Ed DMX, AGT Rave Cru and Killa Productions (Ben Sims & Paul Mac). There is a limited edition yellow vinyl release available on pre-order, which Ravetalk predicts will sell out well before the official release date of 31 October 2011.
