How you can help the TURN IT UP campaign

 

** Sign the petitions at www.ravetalk.co.uk/soundpetition/ and petitions.number10.gov.uk/SaveOurSound/. The second petition has been added in response to those who would prefer a more 'official' petition. However, please note that you have to give your home address to the Government on that one, which some may not want to do, and also you cannot add comments on there, unlike ours. So both have their advantages and disadvantages.

** Join the forum discussion here at Ravetalk or join the Facebook group to discuss strategies on what to do next.

** Write to your MP. Don't laugh, you'd be surprised how effective a tactic this can be on single issues like this. If you don't even know who your MP is, you can find out through www.theyworkforyou.com. Once you've done that, you can fax them for free through www.writetothem.com. We haven't provided a form letter because it's far more effective if you write to them in your own words rather than just copying and pasting someone else's. Please also be polite and argue your points calmly and reasonably.

** SPREAD THE WORD! Please mention the campaign on relevant discussion forums, Facebook groups etc wherever you can. But don't spam them please, that helps nobody. If links to external sites aren't allowed, just mention the "Turn It Up Petition" as it can easily be found by a Google search.

** If you have graphic design skills, please help us create a logo and web banners. Just join one of the discussion links mentioned above to get in touch.

** Finally, be prepared to fight for your right to party!
