Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Now based at a stately home in Norfolk.

Strange, I'm on the "fans" of that page but didn't get the update on my home page?

I'm also wondering why I didn't get the notice direct to email, as I usually do.

And although it's good news for d&b fans about more d&b on the Vapor Stage, it's probably less good news for techno fans who would presumably have liked more techno on the techno stage?

Strange... there's some conflicting info here. The FB page says Vapor stage, but on Twatter they're saying it's a new d&b tent.

Guess I'm going to have to get on the blower to clear this one up.

Edit: Aha! Now I know what's going on. More details soon... ;)

Warning rant cos I'm bored at work.
So is there any reason the glade organisers have gone made for chav & bass this year. Every year they always said that dnb brings the wrong crowd in (which it does) then this year they give up but rather than booking any interesting dnb they mostly pick lots of mainstream dnb with hardly any showing towards the more underground variations of the genre.

Because they're evil sellout bastards who want to kill all the hippies before constructing the New World Order. :fear:

good to see that joke reaching more people :)
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow, what a ride."

To be honest when i first heard the news i was slightly uneasy with it due to the potential of the invasion of the rude boys, BUT the more i think about it i think its a stroke of genius, especially putting them on Sunday. By that time they would either all been chucked out, knocked out, passed out, or just out of it :) Was hoping for more techno but it now gives me nothing to miss when underworld close the festi (if thats the plan) which is another result. Got to say though i think the choice of Dnb artists is good and Andy C + Noisia always gets the place rockin and i will be popping in and out of there for sure. :fear:
More genres the better :)
